The National Institute of Design (NID) is an autonomous design institute in India offering B.Des., M.Des., and PhD programs across disciplines such as Communication, Industrial, Textile, and Interdisciplinary Design. Admission is conducted through the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), which includes Prelims and Mains stages to assess creativity, problem-solving, and visualisation skills. NID has limited seats and a highly competitive selection process, with a low acceptance rate each year.The exam focuses more on creative thinking and practical ability rather than academic knowledge, making consistent practice and skill development essential. The NID Results 2025‑26 (DAT 2026) are declared online only. The scorecard is valid for the current admission cycle only. Candidates must log in to the official NID admissions website (admissions.nid.edu) using their registered credentials to check their result.
